Consumers Bank Adds Robert Miller as SVP Chief Retail and Deposit Officer
MINERVA, Ohio−Consumers National Bank announced today that Robert (Rob) Miller has joined the bank as Senior Vice President, Chief Retail and Deposit Officer. He reports to President and CEO, Ralph J. Lober II, and is based on the bank’s corporate headquarters in Minerva.
“We are extremely excited that Rob has joined Consumers to lead our retail operations and deposit product offerings. His range of experience will enhance our retail staff’s ability to effectively and efficiently meet our customers’ financial needs. He has a great mix of sales and operations experiences, and his leadership style fits well with our executive management team. Rob’s addition reflects the execution of the bank's 2024-2026 strategic plan and is part of the Retail Banking and Operations succession plan. Initially, he will share duties with Senior Vice President Derek Williams, Retail Banking and Operations. Derek has been instrumental in the bank’s growth since 2011. While no date has been announced, he expects to retire in 2027. Rob’s addition will provide for a smooth transition,” said Lober.
Miller will bring over 30 years of banking leadership experience in sales and operations environments to Consumers Bank. He has a proven commitment to building strong teams, strengthening customer relationships, and aligning strategy with organizational goals. Miller has served in sales, operations, and leadership roles most recently at Westfield Bank.
Miller graduated from Canton South High School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Walsh University. He and his wife reside in Louisville and have two adult children.
