CONSUMERS NATIONAL BANK RECEIVES TWO SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AWARDS
Minerva, Ohio−Consumers National Bank has received the Top Small Community Bank Lender Award for the seventh time and a Top Ten Regional Lender Award for the second time from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Cleveland District Office.
The Top Small Community Bank Lender Award recognizes the bank’s outstanding performance making SBA 7(a) and SBA Express loans during SBA fiscal year 2024, ranking first among community banks in the 28 northern Ohio counties served by the Cleveland SBA Office.
Top Ten Regional Lender Award includes the top ten banks in all categories and all sizes—large as well as community banks—in 28 northern counties of Ohio in SBA 7(a) loan volume.
“We are excited to be recognized by the Northeast Ohio District of the Small Business Administration as the Top Small Community Bank for the seventh time as well as being a Top 10 SBA 7 (a) Lender in the 28 northern counties. Our approach to SBA lending has always been to utilize the various programs in a manner which best fits the needs of the businesses in the communities we serve. It takes a team effort amongst our Lenders, Commercial Loan Department along with the support that the Cleveland SBA District Office provides; we have been able to provide capital that may otherwise not be available to clients in our six-county footprint and surrounding areas,” Sean M. Ulik, Vice President/Canton Market Manager at Consumers National Bank.
“The U.S. Small Business Administration Cleveland District Office is pleased to recognize Consumers National Bank for its continued efforts to empower small businesses. Our partnership gets capital into the hands of entrepreneurs who are seeking to grow their business,” said Director Bolden. “Because of Consumers National Bank, small businesses have invested in their businesses, purchased new equipment, expanded their markets, and created good jobs in Northeast Ohio.”
Consumers National Bank has 11 commercial lenders serving business clients from the bank’s 22 branches in Carroll, Columbiana, Jefferson, Stark and Summit counties, plus a loan production office in Boardman. In addition to small business loans, the bank has a history of agriculture lending which supports the rural communities that make up a significant portion of its markets.
