CONSUMERS NATIONAL BANK ADD DAVID BENAVIDES AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & SENIOR LOAN OFFICER

Minerva, OH—Consumers National Bank announced today that David Benavides has joined the bank’s executive management team as Senior Vice President & Senior Loan Officer. He will report to President and CEO, Ralph J. Lober II, with an office in the bank’s corporate headquarters in Minerva.

Benavides has over twenty-five years of experience in mortgage, agricultural, commercial, and indirect lending. He is an experienced manager who has directed lending sales, operations, and credit teams at a variety of lending institutions in northern Ohio.

“David's addition reflects the execution of the bank's 2024-2026 strategic plan and is part of the developing Loan Department succession plan. He will share SLO duties with Executive Vice President & Senior Loan Officer Scott Dodds, with David initially taking responsibility for Agricultural Lending, Mortgage Services, and Consumer Lending. David enjoys developing talent, creating high-performing teams, and building long-term customer relationships. He is an excellent fit to the bank’s leadership and lending teams,” said Lober.

Benavides earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Kent State University and is a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He lives in Aurora with his wife and daughter.
