Consumers National Bank Adds New Business Banker in Fairlawn

Donna WaltersConsumers National Bank announced today that Dana Walters has joined the bank as Vice President and Business Banker. She will serve business clients in Summit County from the bank’s Fairlawn branch. Walters will report to Mike Benson, Vice President and Akron Metro Market Manager.

“We are pleased to add Dana to our lending team. Her extensive commercial lending experience and knowledge of the Summit County market will provide her customers with a valuable business partner,” said Benson.

Walters has more than 20 years of banking experience as a commercial lender. In her most recent position, she was as a commercial relationship manager. Prior to entering banking Walters was Operation Manager for a privately owned business in the Cleveland area.

Walters graduated from Normandy High School in Parma before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University in Athens. She completed and is certified in Risk Management Association (RMA) credit classes and has completed Moody's Analytics credit training. Walters is a graduate of the Stow Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2016.

In 2017, Walters received the Women of Professional Excellence Award from Women's Network of Northeast Ohio. She is a member of the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce and serves on its Economic Development Committee, is a member of the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) and a volunteer for Sugar Plum Home Tours. Walters resides in Copley.
