Consumers National Bank To Open New Office in Green Town Park Center

Shirley EhrichConsumers National Bank announced today that it will open a new full-service branch at 4086 Massillon Road in Green, Ohio, on Monday, April 19. The new location marks the bank’s second full-service location in Summit County and the 19th branch in its network.

“We are very excited to bring community banking to the residents and businesses in Green and southern Summit County. Green is a growing market and the location at Town Park Center provides an opportunity to provide retail and commercial banking services in a high-traffic corridor. Located near City Hall, the branch will be close to the schools and other community institutions,” said Ralph J. Lober II, President and CEO of Consumers National Bank. “As Green residents have not had access to community banking for fifteen years, we look forward to showing them how Consumers Bank’s brand of banking can make a difference,” he added.

The new location will bring three additional full-time jobs to the area. Shirley Ehrich, Assistant Vice President, has been hired as the Branch Relationship Manager of the bank’s Green location. “Shirley is the ideal person to lead the Green Town Park Center branch. She has more than 40 years of retail banking experience in Stark, Summit, and Portage counties. A native of Green, Shirley graduated from Green High School and is a member of the Green Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition to managing the operations and staff of the branch, she will work closely with our Business Banker, Laura Horovitz, and Commercial Deposit Specialist, Kennie Long, to serve the commercial loan and deposit needs of businesses in the Green area,” said Derek Williams, Senior Vice President of Retail Sales and Operations. Mortgage originators will be onsite to assist customers with conventional, construction, FHA, USDA, and VA loans.

Consumers National Bank’s Green Town Park facility includes a bank lobby, drive-thru tellers, and drive-up ATM that can accept deposits of checks and cash. The branch will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Consumers National Bank was established by local business people in Minerva, Ohio, in 1965. Since that time, the bank has expanded beyond Stark to Carroll, Columbiana, Jefferson, Summit and Wayne counties taking its philosophy of community banking and knowledgeable, personalized service to these markets. The bank, now at $750 million in assets, is the largest community bank in Stark County and holds a five-star (superior) Bauer Financial bank rating.
